Our experienced staff offer up-to-date, culturally relevant and engaging presentations designed to actively raise public awareness about the complex effects of interpersonal violence on individuals, children, and communities. Education and outreach opportunities include:
Twice a year, Cornerstone hosts a 50+ hour training to offer education and insight into the dynamics, scope and impact of interpersonal violence through a trauma-informed lens. The training is offered free of charge to persons who work for or volunteer with a community-based domestic or sexual violence program and includes certification of the 40 hour training required for Sexual Violence Advocates. For other interested parties there is a $50 fee to attend this training. The next training will take place on Wednesday evenings and Saturdays starting January 30 through March 2, 2019.
