Our experienced staff offer up-to-date, culturally relevant and engaging presentations designed to actively raise public awareness about the complex effects of interpersonal violence on individuals, children, and communities. Education and outreach opportunities include:
Twice a year, Cornerstone hosts a 50+ hour training series to offer education and insight into the dynamics, scope and impact of interpersonal violence through a trauma-informed lens. The next training series is September 18 to October 25, 2019 and includes certification of the 40 hour training required for Sexual Violence Advocates. The multi-week training is offered at a discounted rate of $50 per person for employees or volunteers of community-based domestic or sexual violence programs. For all other interested parties there is a $100 fee to attend this training.
